he played closed matches on pro-nodm9 and pro-q3dm6 but got a deficit on hub3aeroq3 (which isnt present in ql ;) so...

I blame his fail in groupstage on the seeds. He had to play fox and rapha. Fox knows his playstyle and rapha was the strongest player in the whole tourney. ofc just my opinion

Did you watch his ESL demos? His rockets and prediction were terrible and not even remotely on the same level as noctis, fox and even k1llsen.

If he hasn't improved dramatically since then there's no chance he'll make top 3.

If he finishes lower or higher than k1llsen probably depends on seating luck but if both meet @ quakecon k1llsen will come out on top. IMHO Spartie is the most overrated of the european players. He doesn't have fox/stermy aim and his prediction & rockets flat out suck (always compared to the top players of course).

This is judging from the games he played in the ESL invitational and his maps vs Bodzo in the bigfoot tourney. Maybe he has improved since then but I doubt it.

he's beaten Rapha before. Granted, that was when he had a high-skill + hacks practice partner, but still. He's proven himself to be quite the player over and over, and performs well on LAN, so I think he'll do fine.
