Final Edit: Apparently a friend of a friend was selling a laptop for a good price, and I went with that. It's in great condition, and was a steal.

I've been trying to play some older games with friends and when I try to forward my ports, the router (Linksys WRT160Nv3) doesn't save my settings.

I tried Googling for some answers but nothing really helped.
