I have a problem with my acer laptop, I run quake 3 and after 5 maybe 10 minutes the fan starts working heaivly as the computer itself would run under tremendous workload and finally shuts itself off.
It is strange because I can run any other game/program/whatever no problems. What now

My computer specs are:


Acer Aspire 5735
Processor: Intel Core Duo [email protected] GHz
Memory RAM: 4 GB
Graphic Card: Intel

I enjoy playing simple baseq3 FFA so I use 1.31 version where they don't have CPMAs, punk busters, just pure free for all fun but I get banned for being too good and accused of cheating.
Is this normal.
